Tour departs from the Kailua Pier in downtown Kona. UFO store is located in the lobby of the King Kamehameha Courtyard Marriott.
Parasailors are on the boat for approximately one hour with a maximum of 6-8 passengers per boat (flying and non-flying). Participants are winched on and off the boats hydraulically for safe and dry landings.
Duration: Individual parasail rides vary according to ride level (standard, deluxe or out of this world) and total number of flyers riding together. Maximum of 6 passengers per boat (flying or observers).
Choose between three ride levels: Standard (up to 600 feet of line), Deluxe (up to 800 feet of line) and Out Of This World (up to 1,200 feet of line)
Standard: Single = 8 minutes Double = 10 minutes Triple = 10 minutes
Deluxe: Single = 8 minutes Double = 10 minutes Triple = 10 minutes
Out Of This World: Single = 10 minutes Double = 12 minutes Triple = 14 minutes
Age restrictions: Participants must be at least 3 years or older in order to parasail in Hawaii. Children between the ages of 3 and 12 must be accompanied by an adult, parent, or guardian, either as a paying observer or flyer. Children 3 and up may join the tour as observers; they must be accompained at all times by a parent or guardian. No child under 3 will be allowed. All minors between the ages of 13 and 17 may board alone but must have a parent or legal guardian sign consent forms at check-in.
Weight Restricitons: Parasailors must weigh at least 130 pounds to fly alone. Tandem and triple flights are available with a maximum weight limit of 450 pounds. The captain can increase or decrease these restrictions at their sole discretion based on safety, wind and sea conditions.
Physical Restrictions: Those with chronic back/neck problems, anyone who has had previous back/neck surgery or anyone who is pregnant or thinks she may be pregnant may not participate in this activity. Participants must be able to walk down the dock and board the parasail vessel with minimal or no assistance. The boats are not wheelchair accessible.
Maximum 6-8 passengers per trip.
All participants are required to sign liability waivers before participating in this activity.

You must call at least 48 hours before the event for credit or refund to be applied. Some activities require a longer notice or will not allow cancellations once booking is made (each tour description will show exceptions to the 48 hour rule if applicable). Activities are 100% refunded in the event of your tour being canceled by the Activity Provider for any reason, such as weather, mechanical, etc. Ohana Fun! Hawaii will make every effort to get approval from an activity provider but cannot guarantee a refund until such approval is granted.
