Your evening festivities will commence as the sun begins to set at the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel and you're welcomed to the spectacular Island Breeze Luau with a traditional Lei greeting, picture taking, open bar, arts and crafts, and Imu ceremony are all a part of the welcome and introduction to your Island Breeze Luau.

Guests will discover an 18,000-year-old, 25-acre fringing coral reef, which boasts a vibrant ecosystem. Passengers view coral formations and tropical fish. Tours provide narration in Japanese via headsets. Reservations for this tour are highly recommended.

TOUR AVAILABILITY: The Atlantis Submarine Kona Adventure is available daily at 10 AM, 11:30 AM and 1 PM. Check-in takes place 30 minutes before the scheduled submarine tour time.

TOUR LENGTH: Actual underwater tour time is 35 minutes. Shuttle boat ride from the pier to the submarine site plus transfer is 10 minutes each way.

All Atlantis Submarine Kona tours are in English. Headsets providing narrations in Japanese are available upon request.Food and beverages will not be provided on this tour.

Tour Restrictions:
Children must be a minimum of 36" in height to ride the submarine. Passengers must be physically capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder in order to ride the submarine.

Winner of the "Best of West Hawaii" award which was first presented in 2000, the Island Breeze Luau at King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel is a favorite of kama'aina (local residents), visitors and travel professionals.

Each evening guests are invited to join in a cultural experience that shouldn't be missed. The luau is well known for its delicious food and its amazing Polynesian production, and its beautiful unique location. It is held on the beachfront of historic Kamakahonu Bay and Ahu Ena, Kamehameha the Great's former estate in Kailua-Kona. Guests enjoy a backdrop of passing fishing boats, paddlers in outrigger canoes, and the lights of Kona and Mount Hualalai.

Considered a "Royal Hawaiian Experience", the luau features a 22 dish buffet, open bar, Polynesian arts & crafts demonstrations, and the Royal Court procession. Highlighting the evening is the spectacular Polynesian Revue. Where authenticity and the skills of the Island Breeze Ohana, is matched only by the spirit of aloha they share with the audience. All of this creates a very special cultural experience and memories that will last a lifetime.

Location
The Island Breeze Luau is held under the stars, on the historic grounds of King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. The hotel is located adjacent to the pier in Kailua Bay, on Palani Road in Kailua-Kona, within walking distance of many visitor accommodations in Kailua-Kona. The luau is easily accessible from the Kohala Coast Resort area to the north and the Keauhou Beach Resort to the south.

Check-in Desk & Parking
The Island Breeze Luau reservation desk is located in the lobby of King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. Vouchers must be turned in for luau tickets at the luau desk. Guests must have tickets to be admitted to the luau. Ample parking is available at the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. Validation is given at the luau desk and during the luau.
