Get ready for an exclusive Air Maui experience where you will enjoy a combination featuring the West Maui and Molokai helicopter flight, one of Maui's most popular, and a private oceanside landing. This flight is sure to keep you in awe of the beauty of your surroundings, in the air or on the ground! Your flight will take off from the Kahului Heliport and head towards West Maui. From there you'll ascend over 5,000 feet to the West Maui Mountains and then across the channel to the remote island of Molokai, to catch views only available if you fly in a helicopter! Molokai boasts the tallest sea cliffs in the world, as well as the tallest waterfall in Hawaii at almost 3000 feet. Next, you will land at an exclusive oceanside location on West Maui with incredible views of Maui, Molokai and the Pacific Ocean! Once airborn again you will fly over Maui's famous valleys, waterfalls and rugged rainforest, before heading back to Kahului.

Flights depart from Air Maui's Kahului Heliport hangar (only heliport on Maui).

Turn-by-turn directions from your hotel or condo will be emailed to you, along with your voucher, so please be sure to provide us with your accomodations information, as well as a cell phone number while on Maui, if any.

Front seat upgrade is available for an additional $50 per seat for a maximum of 2 seats per flight. To qualify, the combined weight between the two passengers cannot exceed 380 lbs.

From the West side:

Kapalua & Napili - 60 minutes

Kahana & Honokowai - 55 minutes

Kaanapali - 50 minutes

Lahaina - 45 minutes

From the South side:

Makena - 40 minutes

Wailea - 35 minutes

Kihei (South) - 30 minutes

Kihei (North) - 20 minutes

Equipment: A-Star AS350 (specs on picture 17 of 17 above) configured with several windows and seating for 6. All passengers will have great views from their seats (see picture 3 of 17 above). Back seats are higher than front seats for optimun visibility for all.

Air Maui's A-Star helicopters are mounted with 4 Video Cameras (3 outside and 1 inside) which will be capturing not only the scenes of your flight, but your pilot's narration and the stereo sound music played during your flight.

Digital Video of your actual flight will be available for purchase and payable directly to Air Maui.

A pre-boarding photo is also available for $20 or photo and DVD for $50 cash or $67 by credit card.

IMPORTANT RULES, CONDITIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR HELICOPTER FLIGHTS:

1- Weight & Size Guidelines: Helicopter weight and balance changes with every flight because of passenger weight, pilot weight and length of flight (fuel weight). It is important that you provide accurate body weight for every passenger. FAA regulations require all passengers and their carry-on items to be weighed at time of check-in. If a standard airline seat belt is too small, if you weigh over 240 pounds or if the combined weight of 2 passengers exceeds 420 lbs you may be required to purchase a comfort seat on most flights (please call our Concierge line to check for other options).

2- Scuba Diving: No scuba diving 24 hours prior to helicopter tour departure time.

3- Children: A child 23 months or younger may fly at no charge and must sit on adult's lap. Please provide child's weight at time of booking. Children 2 yrs. and older must occupy a seat with seat belt on and are charged full fare.

4- Routes & Flight Time: Helicopter: Companies cannot guarantee any specific routes or sights, which may vary due to weather. Flight times are estimates and may vary a few minutes.

5- Photography: Bring lots of film!! Don't forget to check for batteries and memory space!!!

6- What to wear: Wear a dark colored shirt to reduce glare on the plexiglass windows.

Front Seat Weight Restrictions: In order to take advantage of pre-paying for the 2 front seats, passengers may not weigh more than 380 lbs combined. Air Maui may not sit passengers in front seats who weigh more than the weight allowed by the helicopter manufacturer.

Cancellations must be made by calling our concierge lines at 808-214-9283. We will not accept cancellations via email, voicemail, fax or chatline. You must call at least 48 hours before the event for credit or refund to be applied. Some activities require a longer notice or will not allow cancellations once booking is made (each tour description will show exceptions to the 48 hour rule if applicable). Activities are 100% refunded in the event of your tour being canceled by the Activity Provider for any reason, such as weather, mechanical, etc. Ohana Fun! Hawaii will make every effort to get approval from an activity provider but cannot guarantee a refund until such approval is granted.
